FA8629-07-C-2430 Battlefield Airmen Management System for Fiscal Year 2008: This is a presolicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Special Operation Forces Systems Group, Battlefield Airmen Squadron (670 AESS) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to SRA International Inc to enhance the existing Battlefield Airman Management System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Specific objectives of this task include: architecture, design, and development of website system enhancements, program planning, project support, product integration and delivery, and product/process assessment and analysis. Emphasis will be placed on effective and efficient data, information and knowledge management technologies, as well as human factors considerations. The government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 since SRA International Inc is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to support the system. The proposed contract action has an expected period of performance of 12 months.
