The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 41207-0001-7 for the provision of burial services for the Federal Medical Center Rochester, located in Rochester, Minnesota. The contractor shall provide complete burial services to include: embalming, body preparation, complete burial services, casket, transportation/shipping of remains, and cremation. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed unit prices. It is estimated the contract will include burial services to include casket and shipment for 34 deaths for the base year and for each of four (4) option years. The contract period shall be from the effective date of award through 12 months from effective date of award and four 12-month option periods for renewal.
