The US Army Contracting Command -Redstone have a requirement to procure approximately 72 RAM Warning, Alert and Response Network (WARN) Sets with 113,298 hours of Engineering Support from Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems (NGSMS). These efforts include production of RAM WARN Systems and to provide system field level support in the areas of systems engineering, test, configuration management, product assurance and logistics support for the systems. The contract will have multiple ordering periods during the contract period of performance of 36 months. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, this procurement is sole source to NGSMS, 2340 Dulles Corner Blvd, Herndon, VA (CAGE 1V4X9). Any responsible source may submit a proposal which shall be given due consideration by the agency. Number note 22 is revised as follows: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
