The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotation for a firm fixed-price contract to provide and deliver spawning gravel to the following sites: Placer Bridge, Dog Gulch, Peltier Valley Bridge, NEED Camp, all located in Redding, California. This is a sole source acquisition to Western Shasta Resource Conservation District, Anderson, California. The NAICS Code is 212319; the Small Business size 500 employees. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to negotiate on a sole source basis to Western Shasta Resource Conservation District to provide and deliver spawning gravel on one private parcel of land and two state owned parcels under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Sole source justification has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Firms believing they can provide this requirement must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer with supporting evidence to that effect in sufficient detail to demonstrate the respondent's ability to meet the stated requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within 5 calendar days of the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
