In accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), paragraph 3.2.2.4, the FAA intends to procure from Sunhillo Corporation of Berlin, New Jersey a source code license for the En Route Communications Gateway (ECG) System as well as Software Engineering Support for the Series 1 Replacement (S1R), En Route Communications Gateway (ECG), and the Advanced Technologies and Oceanic Procedures (ATOP) systems External Communications Server (ECS). These systems are essential to Air Traffic Control in both the En Route and Oceanic domains of the National Airspace System (NAS). Each of these systems utilizes proprietary software owned by Sunhillo Corporation. Due to this, the ECG software license and software engineering support for all of the systems listed is only available through Sunhillo Corporation.
