The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-06-RP-0102 for the following supply item: The contractor shall be required to complete and deliver to Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1415 North Gate Road, Madison, Indiana 47250 the inscribed marble niche cover orders within twenty (20) calendar days from the date the order was issued.  Inscription work shall not be performed at the cemetery.  The contractor shall be responsible for:  pick-up, packaging sufficiently to prevent damage during shipment and handling, inscribing, and returning niche covers to the cemetery. The cemetery is responsible only for making available the blank niche covers to the contractor and is not responsible for packaging the blank niche covers. The contractor should ensure that blank niche cover pickups from the cemetery occur on a regular basis to ensure the contractor always has on hand a sufficient amount of blank marble niche covers in order to complete and deliver all inscription work within the twenty calendar day deadline required by this contract. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Past Performance, 2) Technical Qualifications, 3) Price. This acquisition is a contract with base and 3 (three) option years and 100% set aside for small businesses.  The NAICS Code is 327991.  Size standard is 500 employees.  Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about July 28, 2006.  Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., September 7, 2006.  Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at Fed Biz Opps.  Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments.  See Numbered Note 1.
