The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has a requirement to produce Smartcards for the Trusted Travel Program. One of the specific security features that will be implemented in the cards is a Kinegram. Kinegram is a trademarked security device that provides multiple layers of security within the device. GPO intends to issue a sole source contract in accordance with MMAR 6.302-1 to Kurz OVD Kinegram. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full an open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
