The contractor shall provide healthy, appetizing and nutritious meals, onsite or be able to be picked up within 15 mile radius to approximately 15 or 35 soldiers depending on the day, located at the fair grounds at Whitney Point NY, 13862 for the breakfast and dinner meals each day. The Government intends to make a single award but reserves the right to award to multiple vendors if it is in the best interest of the Government. The estimated Period of Performance are as follows for Breakfast August 2012, 08-13, 23-25 and Dinner August 2012, 07-12, 23-25.
Breakfast choices shall include fresh fruit juice, low fat chocolate and white milk, individual packaged dried cereal or individual packaged hot cereal, eggs, pancakes, breakfast meat, assorted breads, hash brown potatoes, biscuits with gravy, fresh or canned fruit, coffee, butter or margarine, syrup, jelly or jam, and condiments. Lunch & Dinner shall include an entree which includes a tossed salad, one vegetable at lunch and two vegetables at dinner, accompanied by appropriate side dishes or sauces, gravies or salad dressings, low fat chocolate and white milk, iced tea and coffee to include condiments. Each meal shall be served with a choice of bread and butter or margarine and dessert. Provide all food, beverages and condiments for use at each meal. Provide serving equipment, serving utensils, disposable plates, cups, napkins, and utensils for each meal.
