The Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center has a requirement for performing pick-up and disposal of infectious waste. VA-250-08-RQ-0362 will be issued on or about February 17, 2009 with a closing date on or about March 2, 2009. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE COMPETED FULL AND OPEN. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13 which will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures therein. Any offeror that believes it can meet the following requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer no later than response due date. In addition, FAR 52.219-14 Limitations on Subcontracting, states that at least 50 percent of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel shall be expended for employees of the concern. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
