The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Army Reserve Contracting Center, Fort Jackson, SC, intends to award a one time, firm fixed price purchase order for Grind and Seal shop flooring service. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.102, Use of competitive procedures will be used to satisfy this requirement. This notice of intent constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct further competition. This requirement consists of: Item 001 Grind and Seal shop floors; include clean and degrease the floor, sand, grind, remove existing coatings and contaminates, fill voids for prep prior coating. Sealant: Apply epoxy sealant. Product must be approved by the USDA, OSHA, FDA, and EPA. Traction additive to prevent slips on wet floor.
