The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-12-R-0045 for the following service: The contractor shall be required to provide blank upright marble headstones for nationwide contract. Potential offerors will submit, at contractor expense, one marble sample (15"X 12"X 3/4") representative of the marble to be used in the production of headstones under the contract. The marble sample shall conform to government specifications and must be submitted for approval. The sample shall be marked clearly on the back with indelible marker showing contractor name, solicitation number, email address. Any sample which arrives damaged will not be accepted. The sample shall be manufactured, inscribed, and packaged to prevent any damage during shipment. Samples shall be accompanied by a statement identifying the brand name and grit rating for the pad or stoned used to produce the final finish. Evaluation criteria for this award will be in the following order: 1) Price 2) Technical Qualifications, and 3) Past Performance. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business (SB).
