This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

The Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal intends to issue an award to AARDVARK to on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, for purchase of Tasers and accessories.

The tasers are currently on hand is AARDVARK products. Purchase consists of Tasers - Model X26E W/Duty Holster (R/L Hand), Non-Conductive Simulation for Training use (Blue & Green), Simulation Training Suit, Conductive Target (2-Part F/B), Power Magazine 195, USB Dataport, Air Cartridge W/Alligator Clips, M26/X26 Maintenance and Cleaning Kit.

No solicitation package will package will be issued. This notice of intent to sole source is not a request for competitive quotations; however, the Government will consider responses received not later than 12:00 PM CT on August 02, 2013.
Responses shall be submitted to Evonne Jordan, email address [email protected] and shall at a minimum include the following:

1. The name of your company
2. Company DUNS and CAGE Code
3. POC name and contact information
4. The specific service(s) that your company offers that fulfills the same function as the services to be included on this order or evidence that your company is capable of providing the repair services
5. A description of the service(s) and your company's overall capabilities.

It is your responsibility to demonstrate how your service(s) are capable of providing the same services that exist with ARMAG Corporation mentioned above.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government's Contracting Officer. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
