TACOM-ARDEC intends to award the following two actions on a sole source basis to Textron Systems Corp., Wilmington, MA: (1) a modification to the Advanced Hornet contract for the following items so the Government can provide them as Government Furnished Material for the Intelligent Combat Outpost Raptor Component Advanced Development (CAD) effort: 22 Type 11's (Electrical Functional Platforms with Munition Receiver Transmitters and Antennas), 8 Platform Electronics Data Acquisition Systems (PEDAS), 22 Remote Interface Electronic (RIE) boxes, Fiber-Optic cabling to support the Type 11's, PDAS's and RIE's, 4 Y-connectors to load fills to Type 11's and 3 AH Hand-held Terminal Units with AH Control Station Software (RFQ DAAE30-02-Q-0129) and (2) a contract for engineering support for the Raptor CAD effort providing AH information, interface documentation, engineering, test, maintenance and software support (RFP DAAE30-02-R-0106). TACOM-ARDEC is staffing a Class J&A for these efforts utilizing the authority of FAR 6-302-1, Only One Responsible Source. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
