The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armament Command, Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (TACOM-ARDEC) is conducting a market survey of industry to identify sources that are capable of supplying a Bunker Defeat Munition - Confined Space (BDM-CS) weapon system. The soft launch capability will allow the BDM to be safely man fired from within enclosures and defeat field fortifications commonly referred to as bunkers. The Government envisions this developmental effort to include engineering design and analysis, and fabrication of between 32 and 300 test samples for preliminary verification testing. A Purchase Description is provided as an attachment. Proprietary and/or classified information will be protected as denoted with submission. Responses (printed material, photographs, etc.) must be less than 30 pages and be delivered not later than 45 days from the date of this notice. Responses should include proposed design activities to achieve the Purchase Description requirements, estimated costs, and schedule requirements for delivery. This information may be mailed to Ed Czekaj, Contract Specialist, U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Center for Contracting and Commerce, AMSTA-AQ-APB, B. 10, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, tel/fax 973-724-7362/6542.
