Genetic Analysis of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Bison - Analysis of nuclear markers distributed across the bison genome for detection of cattle gene introgression and to assess the degree of genetic diversity within a herd. Expected output on each sample submitted for the respective analysis includes alleles detected at each marker, alleles identified as cattle origin, and estimates of diversity for batches of samples representing herds.
