The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Kaiser Permanente of Georgia (KP/GA) 3495 Piedmont Road NE, BG 10, Atlanta, GA 30305. The order is for procuring linked and analyzed data set and information regarding the requirements for intergrating asthma data with air quality for ongoing surveillance from a health data source that has demonstrated access to high quality retrospective data on acute asthma visits in the five metropolitan Atlanta,Georgia counties. The authority for this sole source procurment is FAR part 6.302-1 in that Kaiser is the only known source for their proprietary information. This not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is availible. Firms that belive they can provide the required information are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the publication date of the synopsis. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed action based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
