The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i). The microscope must have the following features 1) True zero pixel shift cubes for exact co- localization studies, 2) Internal Fluorescence Intensity Manager (FIM) allowing intensity adjustments of individual fluorochromes, 3) Internal excitation manager to allow balance of individual wavelengths in multiple wavelength specimens 4) Fluorescence cubes that can display 2 (red and green) or 3 (red, blue, and green) fluorescent signals simultaneously.
