It is the intent of the Government to award a sole source contract to ViaSatInc.to repair twenty MD-1324A modems. This effort requires testing, tear down,and evaluation. Since the contractor has proprietary rights to the modems,there is no other business that can satisfy the requirement. No solicitationwillbe prepared or made available. All responses to this sole sourceannouncement must be received by 0800 on 20 September 2010 to beconsidered by the Government.
