The Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions and Lethality ContractingCenter, desires to extend the RDECOM-ARDEC S&T Innovation Enterprise to include its industry, academic, non-profit and not for profit partners through the establishment of Other Transaction Agreements or FAR based contracts or other contractual instruments that are deemed appropriate for the Research and Development of specific Nanotechnologies. The Government expects to increase the advances in the development and maturation of Nanotechnologies as applied to armaments systems. Anticipated technology focus areas are highly exothermic nanostructured reactive materials and the integration with micro devices, dual use nanodevices and sensor technologies for medical and defense applications, chip and software level cyber security, alternative and green battery and portable technologies, and systems integration methodologies.
