The Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions and Lethality ContractingCenter, desires to extend the RDECOM-ARDEC S&T Innovation Enterprise to include its industry, academic, non-profit and not for profit partners through the establishment of an Other Transaction Agreement with a consortium for the Research and Development of Nanotechnologies.
Through interactive collaborations with this consortium, the Government expects to increase the advances in the development and maturation of Nanotechnologies as applied to armaments systems. Anticipated technology focus areas under this Other Transaction Agreement are printed electronics and nano related inks, nano enabled or nanostructured materials, pilot scale (beyond the lab) manufacturing and processing sciences for related nano enhanced products, technology transfer to the industrial base and into future military programs of record.
Consortium members will participate with their government counterparts through extended integrated project teams that will be formed based on military need and member interest on a project by project basis.
The Government is seeking established consortia with a collective expertise in the abovementioned areas. Please contact Ms. Morgan Ross, Contract Specialist, via email only at
[email protected] by November 26, 2008 with information on established Nanotechnology related consortia.
