The project shall be constructed in two (2) Phases. Items to be included in the BASE BID: PHASE 1 1. Construct a new 14 foot wide vehicle access from John Floyd Road to the construction site. Install new drainage culverts and limestone as required to allow access to the site during construction. The contractor shall remove a portion of the existing chain link fence as required for access to the site. The contractor shall provide an orange tape barrier at the fence opening during construction. The culverts shall be removed at the completion of construction and the ditch restored to it original condition. The fencing shall be installed to itâs original condition after construction is completed. See Note No. 3 on Sheet A1.2 of the plans. 2. Remove the existing tree near the bat6ing cages The tree is to be removed and the contractor shall grind the stump. See Note No. 4 on Sheet A1.2 of the plans. 3. Construct a new stair, platform, chain link fence and gate at the existing Electrical Platform, See the drawings on Sheets A5.3 and A5.4 of the plans. 4. Perform the electrical work required for Phase 1. See Sheets E1.1, E1.2 and E1.3 of the Electrical Plans. 5. Remove the existing tree adjacent to the batting cages. Grind the stump. See Note No. 4 on Sheet A1.2 of the plans. (PRIOR TO STARTING THIS WORK, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RECEIVE OFFICIAL APPROVAL FROM THE OWNER PHASE 2 6. Construct a new pavilion as detailed in the plans. 7. Lower some of the existing pipe supports at the existing pitching lanes and the existing batting cages. See Notes 2 and 3 on Sheet A2.0 of the plans. 8. Revise the electrical service, panels and poles as detailed in the electrical plans and specifications. 9. Trim the branches of the existing tree that is located near the Pitching Lanes. See Note No. 2 on Sheet A1.2 of the plans. 10. Install a new concrete pitching frame at the New Pavilion. See Note No. 5 on Sheet A2.0 of the plans 11. The Contractor shall arrange for and pay for all material testing. See Specifications for further project information
