NASA/GSFC has a requirement plastic scintillator for use in the Super Tiger BalloonExperiment. Specifications are as follows: 14 sheets of plastic scintillator equivalent to Eljen EJ-208B:Size: 10mm x 116.2mm x 116.2mm diamond milled edges with notches on corners (2 per eachcorner) with 45 degree angle, hole drilled on each corner, notches and holes to bepainted with Reflective Coating.Tolerances: Thickness (Target): +1.27mm (0.050". - 0.8mm(0.0315")Machining: 0.25mm(0.010")Delivery Schedule: November 30, 2010NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Eljen Technology, pursuant to FAR 13.106,for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available fromonly one source.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
