NA USACE, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) requires the services to (1) investigate the intermediate and final products of RDX from zero-valent iron treatment, (2) analyze ammonia, nitrous oxides and hydrazine as well as formaldehyde, formic acid, methanol, dimethylhydrazine and byproduct of RDX from zero-valent iron treatment, and (3) analyze byproduct of RDX and nitroglycerin after zero-valent/Fenton's reagent reaction. Period of service will be no later than 31 December 2003. This propos ed procurement will be issued on a sole-source basis. The Contracts Office intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price order with the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, University of Delaware due to proprietary considerations. Request for DACA4 2-03-T-00110 will be issued on or about 20 May 2003 with a closing date on or about 3 June 2003.
