The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)intends to modify an existing Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with BAE Systems, Inc., to raise the contract ceiling by $65,000,000.00. This Sole-Source contract is in support of the Radiation Hardened Microelectronics (RHM) Program. The increase in the contract ceiling will accommodate additional in-scope requirements for Productization and Qualification tasks which involve the maturation of the radiation hardened, bulk Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) fabrication technology developed under the contract through the fabrication of additional parts and a comprehensive testing and evaluation program to identify manufacturing or yield limiting issues. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. See Note 22.
