The Government intends to issue; on an other than full and open competition basis, a non-commercial item contract to Raytheon Company, C3S Radios/Terminals Division, 1801 West Hughes Drive, Fullerton, CA 92833-2200, CAGE 1L3B8; for the purchase of three each, ELPRS Receiver Transmitter, Part Number RT-1720. Items shall be shipped F.O.B. Destination and delivered and accepted at MCTSSA, Supply Officer, Bldg 31345, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055-5171. Only one responsible source is capable of providing supplies compatible with existing fielded Marine Corps equipment (10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1)) and no other supplies will satisfy the requirement. This is not a request for quotation or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Requests for copies of the request for quotation for information only will be honored. Any responsible firm that believes that it has the capability to provide the requirement may contact the referenced contract specialist or contracting officer or submit a quotation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days after publication of this notice, to the effect that a comparable source exists, an order will be placed with Raytheon for the requirements stated herein.
