NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 2, intends to award a sole source contract to DataStat, Inc. 3975 Research Park Dr. Ann Arbor, MI 48108 to conduct a research project that seeks to predict treatment responses for Veterans Health Administration (VHA) patients with Mood and Anxiety Disorders as outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541720 Research and Development in the Social Sciences and Humanities. The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this NAICS Code is $20.5 million. Base Period plus four (4) one year option periods: - Base Period: October 1, 2017 to September 30, 2018 - Option One: October 1, 2018 to September 30, 2019 - Option Two: October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 - Option Three: October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021 - Option Four: October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022 THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be considered, however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
