The U.S Government National Small Arms Center (NSAC) solicits the members of the National Small Arms Technology Consortium (NSATC) and Welcomes applications for new members, for Anti-Materiel Sniper Rifle Objectives as follows, Development of technologies to upgrade individual and crew-served weapons to create smaller and lighter weapons. The Government expects to receive proposals in the technology area of innovative breech locking design to reduce weapon weight. The Government expects to receive proposals in the technology area of innovative improved muzzle brake and suppressor to reduce the signature and sniper detection. The Government expects to receive proposals in the technology area of weapon mount (ground or vehicular). The Government expects to receive proposals in the technology area of recoil absorption to minimize felt and free recoil.
