THIS AMENDED SYNOPSIS CORRECTS THE INTENDED SOLE SOURCE AWARDEE. The United States Coast Guard Research & Development Center (USCG RDC) intends to award a sole-source delivery order to Aardvark Tactical, Inc. for 36 Taser International, Inc. Tasers, Model X26E under GSA Schedule GS-07F-8940D. The tasers intended for purchase have been determined to meet the following functional requirements: 1. Wave form - Complex shaped pulse; 2. Pulse Rate - 15-19 pulses per second; 3. Pulse Duration ? 100-150 microseconds; 4. Peak Open Circuit Arcing Voltage - 30,000 through 50,000 volts; 5. Peak Loaded Voltage - 1,200 volts; 6. Current - 1 -3 milliamp average; 7. Nominal at Main Capacitors - 0.36 joules or less; 8. Delivered into Load - 0.07 joules or less; 9. Nominal at Main Capacitors - 6 through 8 watts; 10. Delivered into Load - 1 through 2 watts; 11. Temperate Range from -4 degrees F (-20 degrees C) to 122 degrees F (50 degrees C); 12. Relative Humidity - 15% to 80%; 13. Housing - High Impact Polymer; 14. Data logging Capability - YES; 15. Information stored - Greenwich Mean Time and Local Time of trigger pull, Duration of trigger pull, temperature, power voltage; 16. Storage Capacity - At least 1500 records prior to data rollover; and 17. Minimum Clock Time with battery removed - 4 through 10 hours. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 335999. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed delivery order based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
