The Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Joint National Integration Center (JNIC) contemplates a sole source award to Applied Minds Incorporated (AMI) to provide state of the art technical and advisory services to the MDA, which will: Enhance the Agency’s ability to optimize the interconnectivity and capability of decision, business, and operational systems/architectures among MDA, the Combatant Commands, and the overall missile defense community. AMI will conduct concept development, conceptual models, surveys, and investigations on unique and innovative ways to accomplish these MDA architectural improvements. It will also develop, design and fabricate a rapidly reconfigurable and scaleable collaborative presentation system that will assist missile defense leaders and innovators in assessing emerging technology and concepts integral to the Balllistic Missile Defense Systems (BMDS). This effort will include, but is not limited to, the design and display of complex information sets involving prototype physical and information infrastructure(s) related to concept innovation and the attainment of, as yet undefined/emerging, MDA mission goals/vision in various communication modes; and the design of unique constructs that recognize exceptional contributions to the MDA. AMI was identified as the only source posessing all of the requisite expertise, specialized capabilities and proven past experience in performing similar efforts.
