The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is seeking sources for research and development services for its Threatened and Endangered Species Section in Yankton, South Dakota.
Work consists of furthering the current research on pallid sturgeon und erstanding through focused research of pallid life history and response to management actions. The process to acquire this work will be open and transparent and focused on priority research questions and issues. The topic area for 2008 is:
" Larv al and juvenile life history (field or lab studies): What are the effects of flow and channel dynamics on drift behavior for free drifting embryos and exogenously feeding pallid sturgeon.
This solicitation will be listed under the NAICS Code 541710 with a size standard of 500 employees.
