NASA/JSC has a requirement for a committee membership with the Time TriggeredArchitecture-Group (TTA-Group).NASA/JSC intends to purchase the committee membership from TTTech North America, Inc(TTTech). The TTA-Group is part of TTTech. The TTA-Group is the only organization developing thestandard for Time Triggered Ethernet (TTE) Technology that can be used in aerospace andother technologies. It is protocol of the Multi Purpose Crew Vehicle (MPCV) Ethernetnetwork to ensure that the industry standard of TTEthernet aligns with MPCVimplementation of the TTEthernet. Only the TTEthernet is used as protocol for the MPCVEthernet data. As a committee member in the standardization of the TTE technology, NASAwill have the opportunity to ensure that NASA's implementation of the TTE and future TTEstandards are aligned.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon April 30, 2012. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
