The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to issue a sole source modification for Open Market items under the Agency’s current GSA Federal Supply Schedule Delivery Order DR-10-07-439 that was awarded to Distributed Solutions, Inc. 12350 Pinecrest Rd.; Reston, VA, 20191. The Delivery Order was awarded under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(2). FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) applies to this modification. The NRC requires Distributed Solutions Inc. to provide four each Advanced Operational Reporting Adapter Base Liscense (Enhanced Level 3), four each Advanced Operational Reporting Adapter Base Subscriptions (Enhanced Level 3) and four each Advanced Operational Reporting Publishers, which will be integrated into the Agency’s current AAMS system. This requirement provides the add-ons for all four option years. This notice of intent is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers, however all responsible sources may submit written capability statements which shall be considered by the agency. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Interested sources must submit detailed technical capabilities and any other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the requirements above, no later than August 22, 2008. Telephonic responses and capability statements that do not provide sufficient information for evaluation by the NRC will not be considered.
