The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a Cost-Plus-Fixed Fee (CPFF) delivery order under NAVAIR BOA N00019-15-G-0001 to Alliant Techsystems Operations, LLC, Clearwater, FL, for the procurement of AAR-47 Missile Warning Set (MWS) Enhanced Depot Level Test Sets (EDLTSs) in support of the AAR-47 Program. Performance efforts include, but are not limited to: Production of the EDLTSs; All related hardware and software products and operator's manuals; Validation Testing of EDLTSs; Operator and Repair Training for EDLTSs; and Technical Support for EDLTSs. NAVAIR intends to award this action on a sole-source basis to Alliant Techsystems Operations, LLC. Clearwater, FL.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Alliant Techsystems Operations, LLC is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the AAR-47 Missile Warning System (MWS), and is the only qualified source that possesses the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this requirement in a timely and cost effective manner.
