The Government has awarded a Sole Source Contract for the A/B Crossover Project at Maxwell Airforce Base, Gunter Annex, in Montgomery, Alabama. The Government elected to Sole Source this project IAW FAR6.302-1 to Electric Power, Inc. (EPI), 1351 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia. This procurement selected EPI as the only responsible source and that no other supply or services vendors would satisfy agency requirements. EPI is the only known source capable of meeting the Government requirement of providing the necessary services. EPI has installed and warranted the new Electrical Distribution System at the Annex and provides maintenance to their propreitary system installed at this facility. To allow any other vendor acces to the system would have voided the current warranties.
