Proposed Vendor: AB Sciex LLC Synopsis: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES: This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source purchase order under Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 13.106- 1(b). The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Headquarters Acquisition Division (HQAD, ) Washington, D.C. for Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP), Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP); Biological and Economic Analysis Division (BEAD); Analytical Chemistry Branch (ACB) intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to AB Sciex LLC. It has been determined that AB Sciex is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirements. This is for a one-year Base, (plus 3 Option Years) maintenance Service Agreement to maintain AB Sciex QTRAP 6500+ Mass Spectrometer. Th ACB currently operates a AB Sciex QTRAP 6500+ Mass Spectrometer instrument. The laboratory needs an annual service plan for this system which includes on-site service visits with a maximum response time of 72 hours. The service plan needs to include at least (2) preventive maintenance (PM) visit per year including any necessary software updates to assure peak operation of the individual hardware and software components for the instrument. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPAs requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, by December 27, 2018 at 12pm.
