REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

The South Bronx Job Corps Academy is a Federally Funded Employment Training Program that services youth between the ages of 16 and 24 in a residential setting.  The program operates year round with approximately 200 residential and 100 non-residential trainees.  The program is operated by ResCare, Inc. for the United States Department of Labor.

SCOPE OF WORK

                Service and Maintains the centers Air conditioner.

                Replace fluids, filters and any other need parts to ensure the air conditioners are functional

                Assist in installation of Air conditioner

Interested bidders are encouraged to attend a walk through on Monday June 21, at 3p.m. to familiarize them with the site.

RFP REQUIREMENTS

•·         Must be in compliance with all Local, State and Federal Guidelines and Regulations

•·         Work to be accomplished in safe and efficient manner with minimal or no disruption or endangerment to trainees and / or staff.

•·         Must provide a copy of current licensure and insurance

•·         Bids are due on June 25, 2010

AGREEMENT

•·         Contractor must provide time frame in which work is to be completed

•·         This agreement will be on Net30 payment terms.

•·         Bidders must submit their proposal by 5 p.m. close of business on June 25, 2010

•·         The following documents will be incorporated and made part of agreement

•o    Davis Bacon Act (40 U 27a Attachment B)

•o    Certification of Non-Segregated Facilities Pursuant to FAR 52.222-21 (Attachment C)

•o    Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Requirement Pursuant to FAR 52.222-26 and FAR 52.222-27, FAR 52.252-2, 52.204-1, 52.215-19

•o    PRC 4121 and 4170.
