1. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Money Media, Inc.; 1430 Broadway Ste 1208; New York, NY 10018. The SEC requires access to current and historical news and in-depth analysis of the mutual fund industry, the money management industry and of mutual fund board compliance and governance issues.

This contract will be for a base period of 12 months with four (4) 12-month option periods. The contract will also include FAR Clause 52.217-8 - Option to Extend Services, which allows the government to extend the contract performance up to an additional six months.

The SEC requires access to the following Money Media News Services: Ignites, BoardIQ, and Fundfire. Money Media has been the only source identified that can meet the SEC's requirement. The SEC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5 in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of statements, proposals, or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
