NOTICE TEXT:
The United States Army Medical Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP).  This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and FAR 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source.   The determination is made based on the fact that only NVLAP can provide this required accreditation

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation; however, all responses received within seven days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.   Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement.   A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.    If no written responses are received fifteen (10) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awarded without further notice.  The Point of Contact for this action is [email protected].
