The Great Plains Area Indian Health Service is planning a sole source award with College of American Pathologist  to provide accreditation and proficiency testing material for the Laboratory Department accreditation to operate for the Sioux San Rapid City PHS IHS Hosptial in Rapid City, SD.  College of American Pathologist will provide accreditation and proficiency testing required by the CMS and CLIA 88 and is CAP certified. Hospital Lab's must be accredited by a recognized accrediting agency and required to maintain the accreditation status of the laboratory.   This service is required by the Laboratory CLIA licensure.
