Proposals will be received until TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 1:00 PM at the Spring Avenue Recreation Center, 185 Spring Avenue , Glen Ellyn, Illinois, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. This contract calls for the construction of a public work, within the meaning of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/.01 et seq. All bids will remain firm for ninety (90) days after the bid opening. The Board of Park Commissioners of the Glen Ellyn Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive bid formalities, and to accept the lowest responsible bid that serves the best interests of the District.
