The Pension Benefit and Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) intend to make a Sole Source Award to Acquires Media. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) and only one responsible source will satisfy agency requirement. The anticipated period of performance is November 01, 2010 Through August 31, 2011. PBGC seeks an online subscription service to access corporate information and financial news. PBGC is seeking to renew a subscription to Acquire Media's News Edge (accessed via the Internet at NewsEdge.com) gives DISC Financial Analysts access to information that is necessary for DISC to assess the credit quality of pension plan sponsors and assist in the decision of whether or not to terminate a pension plan. Acquires Media's NewsEdge products provides news on companies, industries and other topics. This source procurement under the authority of the FAR Subpart 6, this is not a request for competitive quotes. This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Intent. No solicitation will be issued.
