The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB CA intends to procure on other than a full and open competition.  Telemetry Data Processing Equipment -- One each Model 2500P-CTS with Bit Sync, one each Frame Sync Indicator for Bit Sync, and one each Ililad Lite Software Installation configured per requirements.  This requirement is sole sourced to Acroamatics Telemetry Systems, 5385 Hollister Ave, Bldg 5, Suite 102, Santa Barbara CA 93111-2365 due to fit/form/function compatib of existing Acroamatics Telemetry Systems already in use.

The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, with a business size standard of 500 employees; The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.501. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 14 days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any firms believing that they can provide the Acroamatics Telemetry Systems and wish to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
