--Original Solicitation, dated June 18, 2024--

This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 15, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.

This announcement is for notification (a notice) only that a solicitation is being issued for Active Radio Frequency Identification VI.

The solicitation number is W519TC-24-R-0022 and the Request for Proposal (RFP) is attached to this notice.

The Government has an approved Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition and is only seeking a proposal from Savi Technology, Inc. (Savi).

Logistics Information Systems (LIS) has a requirement for aRFID transponders and products.

Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Savi, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Please see attached redacted Justification and Approval (JA).

Savi is the only vendor that meets the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 18000-7 standard.

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFARS), Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS), and Class Deviations (CDs).

The associated NAICS code is  334111.

The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract.
