The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Patuxent River, Maryland, has a requirement for additional Actuator Assemblies, P/N 428C100-11 in support of the MQ-8C Fire Scout Vertical Take-off and Landing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (VTUAV). NAVAIR intends to award a sole source order under the N00019-12-C-0059 contract to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) located at 17066 Golden Top Road, San Diego, California 92127. NGSC is the original designer, developer and manufacturer and integrator of the Fire Scout air vehicle.

This procurement will be under the authority of U.S.C 2304 (c) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Services may be deemed to be available only from one responsible source when it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition.
