This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-14-Q-2265. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27.  NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase the following sole source from Adacore Technologies: 1 ea. P/N T25-Ada/VX6PPCWIN, GNAT Pro Ada cross environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for PowerPC VxWorks 6.x (hosted on windows); 1 ea. P/N T25-CDP/X86WIN, CodePeer native toolset for automatic code review and validation for x86 Windows (32 bits); 1 ea. P/N T25-Ada/VXPPCWIN, GNAT Pro Ada cross environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for PowerPC VxWorks 5.x (hosted on Windows); 1 ea. T25-Ada/X86WIN, GNAT Pro Ada native environment to develop Ada software (including Ada 2012) for x86 Windows (32 bits).  Period of performance is for one year. The basis for the sole source is that is that Adacore is the only known source of GNAT Pro and GNAT Pro tools and for maintenance support of those items.
