This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The Tennessee Air National Guard, McGhee Tyson ANG Base, Louisville, TN has been tasked to solicit for and award a project to include but not limited to construct a 64 square foot office on the 2nd floor of Building 240. Project includes, electrical, plumbing, communications wiring, reconfiguration of existing fire suppression system. Install HVAC package unit in building 123. Replacement of sink and countertop in building 102. Replace bollards at building 132. Provide and install fire strobe in building 320. Install HVAC system in building 323. Storm pipe replacement. Replace boiler at building 416. Wall and 12,000 SF roof repair at building 120. Demolish 3 facilities. Proposed project will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation issued will depend upon the responses to this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of the Small Business Community to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUB-Zone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 19 May 2017, 2:00 P.M. EST. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include a (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form ( attached to this posting) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location, and Point of Contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. (4) A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.
