Addendum #1 Updated Tasks and Deliverables Tasks and Deliverables: 1. Remove trees less than 6.0" DBH and taller than 24 inches from under the drip line of healthy overstory trees. Ignore overstory trees that have severe damage from fire, insects, or diseases. 2. Remove poor quality trees (diseased, defective, or trees with less than 20 percent live crown) less than 6.0" DBH. 3. Where available, retain 2-4 clumps per acre with 2-7 trees per clump averaging 5 trees per clump. A clump is defined as trees less than 10' apart. Space off outer trees of clump. 4. Thin remaining trees less than 6.0" DBH on a 16' X 16' average spacing. Spacing can range from 12' - 20' to select the best quality trees. 5. Leave tree species preference for thinning when trees are of similar size and quality: - SP, IC, WP, PP, DF, SF 6. Retain oak, and dogwood species unless specified by COR. 7. Retain 4-6 clumps per acre of Hazelnut, Elderberry, Serviceberry. 8. Cut all other brush species 24 inches in height and greater. 9. Retain and culture around all hardwood tree species that are > 5.0" DBH. 10. Retain any rare species such as Pacific Yew or Engelmann spruce. 11. Cut dead woody material less than 4" DBH. 12. Lop and scatter created slash while maintaining a slash dept of 2 feet or less. 13. Maintain a 5-foot pullback around all leave trees including hardwoods. 14.
