Addendum #1 Questions and clarifications from mandatory preclosing meeting. Notice Summary Notice to Suppliers Pursuant to ORS 279C.365 and City of Eugene Administrative Order 44-14-08F, Public Contracting Rule (City Rule) 137-049-0130, sealed bids for Irvington Pump Station Switchgear Replacement for the City of Eugene will be accepted by the Purchasing Office until Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 2:30pm, PST. Bids will be opened immediately thereafter and publicly read aloud in a Teams meeting Click here to join the meeting. Bids will not be accepted after the bid closing time and date. Bids shall be valid for (90) days after opening unless otherwise specified in the bid specifications. This Invitation to Bid (ITB) does not commit the City to pay any costs incurred by any bidder in the submission of a bid. Project Description In general, work includes removal of existing switch gear and installation of new 480-volt, 3 phase, 1000 ampere switch gear and automatic transfer switch, according to project manual and construction documents. Due to the current public health emergency, vendors must submit their bids in a single PDF file via email to the City's Purchasing office in accordance with Section II. INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS, 2.0 Submission before the due date and time specified. Prevailing Wage This solicitation is for a public works project which is subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. All bidders are required to consult the BOLI publication for Prevailing Wage Rates for Public Works Contracts in Oregon Subject to State PWR Law and all subsequent amendments. The rates in effect shall be as in BOLI publication dated January 1, 2021 including the Amendment to the Appendix effective April 1, 2021. Primary contractors in attendance will be permitted to submit bids for this project. Subcontractors and suppliers are not required to attend the meeting but are advised to do so if a site visit is necessary to submit a bid. Statements made by the City's representatives at the pre-bid conference are not binding upon the City unless confirmed by written addendum issued under Section II (4.0) of this ITB.
