The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a sole source task order modification under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-14-G-0021-0002 with Rockwell Collins, Inc., 3200 East Renner Rd, Richardson, TX 75082 for the on-site flushing of the High Power Transmit System (HPTS) antenna system on one (1) additional E-6B aircraft.  The E-6B HPTS is essential to the operational readiness level of the E-6B aircraft.  The planned period of performance is from 1-May-2015 to 31-July-2015.

This intended procurement will be processed pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1), whereby the supplies and services required are available from only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Rockwell Collins is the only contractor with the necessary technical data to perform this support effort for the identified systems.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by NAVAIR.
