This is a notice of the Government's intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to ADVANTOR SYSTEMS CORPORATION. The requirement is to to procure and install an independent Advantor SFXi Alarm System and additional alarm equipment to ensure the area is alarmed and meets the requirements of the ICD 705 and Technical Specification for SCIF Construction including Access Control System (ACS) and Intrustion Detection System (IDS). The IDS will be monitored by the Advantor Suite Network (ASN) within Building 1614 and the ASN at the 66th Security Forces Squadron (SFS) Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). The IDS/ACS will be stand-alone and remain internal to Building 1614, Area R and Area Q, Q1, and Q3.

Area N - The purpose of this effort is to procure and install alarm equipment for an existing door to ensure it is alarmed and meets the requirements of the ICD 705 and Technical Specification for SCIF Construction.

The proposed contract action is to procure the specific service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.

No other communications will be entertained. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB); The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information to be solicited. Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this Presolicitation, your responses will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. We anticipate a sole source procurement IAW 10 U.S.C. 2304.
